So now we have a D18/D35 blend that cost way more than either of those guitars just cos it has Colvins name on the head. Someone has to be a monster fan of any player that has a signature guitar out there. Some of them go for as much as $40,000 when the stock instrument may cost $3,500. I just don't get it.
@alienhuman Actually it's M-sized (0000). :) I like my M-36 better, and it was waaaay cheaper.

If I was gonna buy a wooden acoustic I'd get this. My first choice would be the graphite RainSong.

I think that's a bit of an overstatement. Martin's are indeed great but I'd take a Taylor 410 over any other acoustic any day.

a taylor is a damn fine guitar. there is a reason they cost what as much as they do...
ive never really been a fan of martins, obviously she plays exceptional with her martin, but i could never get around to liking them.
btw, i have an ovation celebrity wrapped in elexir medium gauge polyweb acoustics and i love, love, love the sound

What state are you in? If you're in mine, I'll get you there the next time she's through.
