cheating? in a ring of fire? what kind of people do you have over there? this is such a fun way to get together. i love these kind of games. won a few putting games myself.either way you play it is good in my book.

Here in Oregon we play it from further back and if everyone misses, the people don't get to putt again. So if it's down to 2 people and they both miss, another prize is added and everyone putts. If this keeps happening, you can end up with a stack of stuff up for grabs.

What you may not see is they had a couple different rings with varying distances to the basket. I agree & have played with the rule that if the remaining people miss their putts everybody gets to come back in & you start over again. These guys had their own deal going.
