The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. Every week we field live calls from atheists and believers alike, and you never know what you're going to get! Sometimes it can get quite feisty indeed! You don't want to miss it.

Episode: #582
7 December, 2008
Topic: Another scamlet: "spin". Don talks about how God is like a lemon automobile that can only be sold through deception and slick marketing.

  • Oh, so "relatively recent traditional marriage." Ok, just wanted to clarify that you were just another fundamentalist idiot.

  • Traditional marriage as in whites not being able to marry blacks? Or people of different social classes not being able to marry?

  • "A claim that marriage is about procreation". They really didn't address this issue

  • If you don't want the children to be hurt, then stop being a bigot.

Hmmm, it just makes too much sense for religious dumbfucks, doesn't it?

  • god loves atheists coz they are th eonly sensible human beings

  • God blesses atheists problem solved.

  • That too. However, polygamy has been the norm even beyond that time. Monogomous relationships have been the *exception* up until the last hundred years or so, when talking about the entire world.

Further, as homosexuality is displayed in ALL mammals, I can hardly see how it can't be considered natural, and as it has been a part of all human cultures (most often looked on neutrally, not badly as Christians do), that it is not "traditional."

  • And why is it bad if it's any other way?

  • Besides what "hobokombat" said...

Why is that 'good', that "-proposition 8 blew down, go traditional Marriage", why?

  • recently, i recal that that was how the Romans did it before they were influenced by Christianity.
