I'm a 17 yr old, with a Volvo 740gl Turbo this is my 3rd car its one of the best cars I've owned. had a Xr6 turbo with sports exhausted and I preferred my VOLVO! this is an amazing machine best part 2000 bucks 25 years old and im starting to do it up. I respect all Volvo owners :D

@brapboys503 Hell yes! The old volvo series are such wonders, up to the 900model, rwd for life! I have a volvo 240 glt 1987 with the b230e engine myself and its a great car.

@TheNixzoN 740 is the series and 742, 744 and 745 is the body type. So its an 740 and a 745 :)

@twobimmers It actually has a Moose on the emblem. Much cooler than the gay prancing Horse that Ferrari uses.

Awesome! I have a 1988 Volvo 745 myself. But its the 740GL with no turbo. When i get a job i'm gonna buy some new rims and other bodyparts like new taillights with white signal lights. I'm also going to tune the engine. Try to get a B230FT engine instead of my B230K. 117hk aren't much to brag about, is it?

Thanks! Those old Volvos are becoming classics now. Take good care of it and don't send it to the scrap yard and it will be just great! Good luck with your project...
