Hey everyone! Mindy from CuteGirlsHairstyles joins TMV to talk about her YouTube channel and her favorite summer hair and beauty trends! Plus we answer your questions - should you become your child's best friend?!? What about bad friend influences?!? How often have you said "When I have kids I will be nothing like my parents. I want to be a COOL parent!"? We've heard it far too much, and probably all said it at one point... But now that we're parents, we realize being a "cool" mom or dad doesn't necessarily give you the respect you deserve! How do you draw the line with being your child's friend, and being their parent? Also, what do you do when your child is hanging out with a Bad Apple? How can you show your trust for them, while trying to resist their friend's influence? What do you guys think?? Xoxox

GO TO OUR FBOOK AND ANSWER THIS QUESTION FOR TODAY'S GIVEAWAY: "How do you feel about being friends with your parents? Or being friends with your child if you are a parent?"

Are there any tricks you can give us? E.g. ways to get kids to sleep, to eat, behave, etc. Were any of your kids particularly difficult & if yes, how did you deal with their behavior?

Carlie and Miya, I am a single mom of a 2 year old girl. How did you explain your divorces? Are there any tips you can give me to talk to her? (Her father has never been present).

Also, do you think your ages define how you parent? I'm 20 & terrified my daughter will grow up to resent me for having her so young.

This has taught me a lot of reasons why Mum hated most of my friends when I was at school and now I know why but I wish my Mum was a bit more strict with me because she still let me hang out with them and I could easily lie to her, even when I got in an accident at a party with my friends, she still let me hang out with me and that caused a lot of problems for me.

The way you just negatively attacked someone for expressing an opinion explains the immaturity a 17 year old like you has and that your parents who give you so much freedom and trust may have given you a little too much to the point you're bad mannered. You wanted to scream because the opinions in this video don't match with yours? People like you usually need anger management classes.

Goodness me. I actually wanted to scream watching this video! "I am the boss" If my parents talked to me like that, I would not respect them! I literally can't believe people look up to you women as role models parents. I'm 17, I am a great daughter and me and my parents have got on brilliantly for the majority of my life but there is an age where the kids aren't kids any more, and its lot younger than you may think. Give your kids responsibly, trust them, more importantly.. God bless your kids!

My mum and I have always been close- especially with her being a single parent, however when it came down to it- she was always the mother! As I have got older and finished the parenting stage, we are much closer and I would class us as friends :)
