A first year Red-backed Thrush found on the path alongside Wraysbury 2. Clearly an escape, with a small red plastic ring on the left leg, but an excellent bird that makes me wonder how many asian species are at large in the UK. Also notable that Siberian Thrush appears to be considerably commoner in captivity than this species, so could also be expected to occassionally appear in random locations at unusual times of the year.
