i personally use android booster by NetQin. it has a filtering option to close foreground apps
it also has a application manager, power manager and file manager.
another feature is that it has a monthly data usage limit so it warns when u have surpassed the limmit set by the user.
the widget is also very handy. it has a optimize button.
another features has i really like is auto system optimization. it automatically optimises the phone when the screen is locked

I tried to look for TaskPanel on the Android Market, but it doesn't appear to be showing up. Has this application been discontinued or modified in any way? How can I download to my EVO? Thank you again.

TaskPanel is the best. Wanna know why? Because it's for free and AD FREE!

@Sugiharaluna on android apps get killed by the os when there is a demand for memory. No need to kill them by hand in most cases. That is how it compares to iPhone

@bluefisch200 I use task killer when I want to play a very ram demanding game on my phone. The os does not handle memory management too good in that case and the gameplay is choppy.
NEVER use taskkillers on Android...it is the best way to kill your battery life and slowing down program launching...Android uses not real Multitasking, it has background tasks...
