The support posts for this porch roof are not fully supporting the roof above. Without repairs, the roof could begin to drop damaging the roof framing and roof surface.

  • 2" on a load bearing surface would be code. This beam is resting on the edge trim at the top of the post which is not load bearing.  On top of that, the posts have been set on top of a 4 inch slab rather than a true footer.

  • This country is full of hacks. The government wants to charge us more and more for fees, permits, licenses, ect.. And homeowners want to pay less and less. Who the fuck builds a house like that? What a joke!!
