sweet sweet rock n roll, where have all the brothers and sisters gone/ My soul cries for the beautiful people. Bye Marmaduke, this old world is getting far to ugly brother. I raise my head and hands heavenward in a soulfelt salute!
I saw these guys the last time they played here in Portland. They rocked the house...and this song was one the highlights, along with a killer version of Stella Blue. Buddy Cage was on fire. It was a great show.
Dude, I 'll let you blast your opinion, but you have nothing posted that suggests you know anything but tattooed eyebrows. At the time this came out it wasn't a bad song. The original was like B.J Greavess and Tony Orlando and Dawn, I guess Brooks and Dunn messes you up- all out of tune and all- Who are You? Step off mate!! NRPS rocks way harder than your tats will- get it?
I have immersed myself for many a glorious year in the music of The Grateful Dead, but I only discovered NRPS a few days ago. I have been watching their videos on Youtube, and I´m nothing short of hooked! Wonderful, wonderful music, the sort which only that fabled hippie-era could produce. Today´s "music" is trite shite compared to this.
this really sucks...sorry, maybe in the studio they can sing and play in tune..but the average group of guys sitting around playing guitars and singing sound better than this
jerry garcia was an original co- founder of new riders of the purple sage and played steel gutar with them and toured together with the dead....i designed a dead / workingmans dead insignia on a white steel mill hard hat and gave to jerry personally and he wore it the whole concert......they played with nrps at that time.....rob
