@Greg4real obviously you are not working with the right person. Its not the mortgage broker its the person. Without us you would not have a job, Unless of course you have all cash buyers! I take my clients from beginning to end and work late hours so that I can do that. I do not hand them off to a processor. I must say I have run acrossed alot of 1/2 ass realtors the 15 years I have been in this profession as I am sure you have loan officers. Go to a bank and sit on your deal for 30 days plus!
Go find 25 realtors that appreciate that. Then forget about all the "BEEF" because it does not breed success... Feel good about yourself and the good that you do, and pray for moron agents and scumbag l.o.'s alike, for they were absent on the day the good Lord was handing out genetalia worthy of a second look....
I owned a broker shop in TX for a while, and I listened to everyone who came in and solicited based on 2 things: 1-everyone deserves a chance, and 2-i can always tell someone "NO" and be respectful about it. Realtors are pissy about Loan Officers because they had no better sense enough or knowledge enough to run the dirtbag l.o. off when they should have. Don't listen to moron realtors. You will never feel good about what you do. You exist to provide realtors with paycheck.
NOW, as far as loan officers go, SubPrime is over, and you should not have to deal with such a strong stigma like the "Scumbag L.O." for too much longer. Not all L.O.'s and Realtors are losers.
If you are a Realtor, don't disappear after you execute a contract, and don't call me and complain that your check is not coming fast enough. You should already have cash moron. Secondly, do your own advertising schmuck, if you want me to do it for you, then expect your campaign to consist solely of your name written in red lipstick across my naked pasty rear end. I am not in advertising, try the yellow pages for some help in that arena.
Realtors are mostly ego driven. They HAVE to have their picture on their business card and car, etc. All show and no substance for the most part. There are a few exceptions. Loan officers have taken alot of shizzle due to the ex-network marketing scammers getting into subprime and peddling shite loans because they knew no better. Listen here people:
