Gina Nguyen (San Gabriel High School) performing in the Open Class Military division at the World Drum Major Association Championships competition held at Riverside King High School on Saturday, April 3rd 2010. She earned first place honors scoring a 95.80 (the highest score of the day!) Congratulations, Gina! Well deserved:)
To top it off, she was also awarded the 2010 Sportsmanship Award. From the the WDMA website:
The World Drum Major Association would like to recognize individuals that have shown great sportsmanship & support for drum majoring through camaraderie, enthusiasm, friendship, and for being a positive role model for all to see. We would like for you to nominate any individual (drum major, parent, supporter, etc.) that has reflected the above qualities this 2010 competitive drum major season.
