@kdallassoprano Do you even have a clue what you're talking about? YOU try and sing in front of thousands of people, in an open air festival, without a microphone. I doubt even a "choir" of the greatest classical singers alive would be able to make itself heard.
As for all the criticism and the know-it-all attitude generally displayed to Damrau and any other opera singer out there, I think we should become greater musicians than they are, firstly, and only get the right to criticize afterwards.

@kdallassoprano ...because not even a seasoned opera singer is "superhuman" enough to project to 20,000 people. You need to learn to respect the talent that is out there, because they at least have the drive and the guts to get up on a stage and perform.
