Superior Firepower

Set in an alternative near future, action heroine, Athena Krieg (Jessica Bell), must battle hordes of genetically engineered flesh-eating bacteria that have been unleashed upon Los Angeles by the Soviet Union.

Superior Firepower was created as a mixed-media experiment to showcase my ability to create digital visual effects. This film combines 2D and 3D animation in a manner that blends together comic book and video game aesthetics as a tribute to jingoistic Cold War era B-movie science fiction action films; and the simplistic video games of the 1990s that were a part of my childhood.
