'My Second Car is a Rickshaw'
Give a family in Bangladesh a future!
http://www.1we.com/web/show/id=67747/langid=42

http://www.1we.com Bangladesh is mostly known for its devastating floods and extreme poverty. Almost half the population is still illiterate and almost as many people live way below the lines of poverty. Things however are changing, slowly but surely. The documentary Welcome to Bangladesh shows the positive side and the chances and possibilities of this country. Among others is an interview with Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize Winner in 2006, and former top model Bibi Russell who as a fashion designer gives over 35,000 weavers in the rural areas work. Moreover we visited the project SLOBP and spoke with founder Motalib Weijters. For two years he himself roamed as a street child before he was adopted by a Dutch couple.

  • some one with so little or even nothing can put a smile on their face and act like they have everything...people with everything can sometimes not do this...makes me proud to be bangladeshi...in bangladesh i believe.

  • I am very shameful of myself as Bangladeshi, Because this great person Dr Yunus is now being bullied by Bangladesh's nasty, dirty, rotten politics. May Allah bless him and save us from our criminal politicians. About 70% of our politicians are corrupted, expressly or impliedly involved in crime, drugs business etc etc. May Allah bless us.

  • no good eating..but still smiling yah ...bangladeshis indeed are happy

  • @altrnatvthinker shut up u twat..go and do something...before u fucking open ur filthy mouth,....bastard like u are disgrace...atleast he gave them some opportunity unlike ur idol seikha motherfucking hasina and whore khaleda who has done nothing for us than robbing the poor

  • i love BANGLADESH

  • DR.younus, did yu rally did much anything forbangladsh? I have real reservations bcz yu interest is very high and many people are destryed due to debt i guess

  • Bangladesh could be yet one of the richest country in the world butonly i mean only fo mismanagement the people are living,,,,,,,,,,,

  • hope we get out of poverty BUT dont become so modernised or westernised and stupid if you know what i mean
