@fdoca China is a regional power and nothing more, the US is a world power. The only thing that is giving the US trouble is the terrorists and that’s because they are all in hiding too scared to come out because they know they will get destroyed.

@fdoca first off, Vietnam was an extremely controversial war and had little support. Also, the US destroyed the entire Iraqi army within 100 hours of the invasion and remember that the Iraqi army was one of the biggest in the Middle East. They also stationed thousands of troops there and kept them well fed and taken care of. I guarantee that China, or any other country for that matter could invade a country on the other side of the planet and leave an occupational force there.

@zhang28155 First comment I sent to was accidentally erased. The US has been invading poor nations to expand its power and gain resources across the world. But isn't that what anyone with power would do? Many people believe the US as a greedy, evil nation that causes all of todays problems. Ironically, those who say would probably want such power for themselves. I think of how the world might be if , China, Iran, , Somalia, or even Mexico were the superpower. Would the world truely be better?
