UK Uncut Brighton - Boots Protest

Brighton Uncut took a tour of Boots the great british high street brand that now pays only 3 percent tax as a result of the dodgy dealings surrounding its purchase by private equity company KKR in 2007.

Yet again 100+ officers were mobilised. Luckily most of their wages will go into the UK economy unlike £25 billion of tax avoided by wealthy individuals and companies that heads off overseas.

Cancer patients may receive chemotherapy at their local branch of Boots as part of a revolutionary shake-up of the NHS. Hospital bosses have been in secret talks with the chemists' chain about expanding its High Street operations to include walk-in treatment for cancer. Health Secretary Andrew Lansley said the aim was to deliver 'a service tailored to an individual's need'.

Dawn at last, youre finally doing SOMETHING. Now, you know what I think you lack in your protests? NOISE. Bring some drums with you. I believe it's not enough just to semi-shout what you want to say.
