An ad from a series of weird commercials for Duracell featuring the Puttermans, a family made out of plastic who ran on batteries and who would extol the virtues of Duracell whenever they possibly could. Produced by Ogilvy & Mather NY, the adverts were directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and David Kellogg; the former being the man behind the movie adaptations of The Addams Family and Men in Black, while the other inflicted the Inspector Gadget movie upon millions of cinemagoers. Sonnenfeld directed all of the ads from 1994 (the "can't top the coppertop" series), while 1995 onwards was dealt with by Kellogg.
