@sourcemaster I'm with you completely on that. Technology as a tool is great, but if we become so used to it that we cannot live without it then what good are we actually? I can't imagine saying I'm only as good as the calculator or iPod I use. We have to be able to figure things out on our own.
I don't know how many times I've had to be careful about what I write personally in fear of plagiarism. Some subjects have been done to death so many times that its a constant annoyance. Its sort of like trying to make a user name on youtube, and its already taken...so you put numbers behind it. I don't support such massive use of computers in the class room for teaching of English, or history. Get good books, and stick with em.
