I also happen to think he was just as cute when chubbier, not that it matters much because neither his comedic talent nor his intelligence are influenced by weight, and I'm an enthusiast because of those, not looks. Secondly, the fact that a bunch of internet nobodies symbolically pats a man like him on the back going: "Well done, you've finally worked to be physically acceptable to us, commercially driven drones." sets me in a raging state.

Also, lets not forget that David Mitchell was perfectly happy with the way he looked before and only lost the weight for medical reasons, so all of this talk about his hard work being in vain is a little demeaning.
