The 2010 model Epiphone G400 Standard 62 Sg is conciderd the best Standard Sg out there. Epiphone limited edition 50th anniversary 1961 Sg reissue is preferd over the gibson reissue by a country mile by vintage guitar collectors. gibson your done!

Owned this guitar for 10 years... sold it...regretted selling it and bought a new one! :-)

Why black people talks a lot about every think? why, why, why... i don't understand.

@MrJed50 I have played many gibsons. Then I've actually tried an epiphone faded les paul... so damn comfortable, and sounded good as well. For sure many of those gibson customs are way overpriced.

I've wanted this guitar for like 3 years, & i WILL get it one day.

@MrJed50 thank you for your input, im now even more convinced to get an epi

black people should get white tattoos anywho nice playin on the guitar, tried it out at guitar center it was sick, loved it

This is literally the worst guitar i have ever owned, 1 day of playing and the bridge and tailpiece became silver, the patch chord jack came out with all the wiring, it sounds really fat and getting a brighter sound is quite difficult, the binding from far (like in video looks high class) but upclose it is sloppily done, finish is veryyy sensitive, overall a piece of shit, save for a gibson dont settle for this epi.

I have played for over 40 years...I have a LP Studio....an EPI LP Standard....a Gibson SG (Faded Brown) and a EPI G400(some modifications).....I can tell you from experience, no matter what people may say on here is that the EPI's hold their own. Actually playing the EPI is easier than playing the Gibson SG....the neck is seems a little thinner...much more comfortable to play....to be honest I take both the Gibson and the EPI to gigs...and always wind up playing the EPI throughout the session.
