  • Bane, you CLEARLY don't understand how RFID works.

RFID chips are not powered, and have no battery. They RELY on the signal scanning them, to produce any information at all. The scan signal, can only read within VERY close proximity. This is because the RFID chip "reflects" that signal, instead of producing it's own, in what amounts to an interference pattern. That pattern gives back the stored info. Because there is no power/battery, it CANNOT go beyond a few feet. NO directional info either.

  • The RFID is too weak to be read from space though. If an RFID could be read from space, there's nothing stopping a bar code from being read from space. RFID's are extremely weak and can only be read from a short distance.

  • fuck the rfid !!!

  • @JacktheSmack And this short distance receivers maybe capable of communicating with satellites or directly or via telephone lines/networks. How about that?

  • @GenDaiLEO You actually can observe it since the reader needs to generate an electromagnetic field which the rfid-chip modulates.

I don't say that mandatory chipping and other dystopian scenarios weren't bad or anything. I'm just saying that it's an highly ineffective technology.

  • @generischernutzer nah you can't know if the chip is read by some device...and it doesn't matter if you can block a card from be read it's still a slave-chip and it will lead to the implant - it's bad - it's unnecessary - it's unhealthy - even if it was not there where different technologies to achieve the same without radio-chips

  • Dont be a dip shit and get the RFID Chip implanted.......dont become sheep to the New World Order.

  • @GenDaiLEO

You can easily block reading via a Faraday cage. You can also observe if the chip sends out any signals.
