I don't debate Christians for the same reason I don't debate someone who thinks the Moon is made of cheese. The existence of God is unsuitable for debate. @aden302000 I can't really argue with that.

What I find interesting is how people are always writing off the supernatural claims in the Bible as "beyond the realm of science", as if the very fact that we don't see any evidence is PROOF that they're real. But I think that if things like souls and such are actually real, then there can be some sort of test or observation we can make that would demonstrate their existence. If religions were true, the science would line up with them.

@FrankLightheart Its because he needs to hate. If the bible is discredited then it brings into question all the irrational discriminations that he holds. It means that he cant justify his discrimination and hatred toward gay people. He needs the bible because it reaffirms his world view.

@FrankLightheart It is a reference saying only the friend which would be hope would know what Darwin told her! I don't find it offensive frankly i really could care less it is the people that are blindly heading and following it! People need to know the Truth at any cost! And all i ever hear in talks like this is Sound Scientific Proof! what is it if it is so sound?

@Nathan8Lealiou I'm afraid you're not making much sense, Nathan. No one is saying that evolution has stopped, and mutation has everything to do with evolution. And I don't even know what point you're tying to make with homosexuality. It has nothing to do with what we're talking about.

What I want to know is why you feel evolution is such an evil anti-religious subject. Why do you find it SO offensive that you need to defend yourself against sound scientific principals?

All people have to do is put down there beliefs lower there guard and read the Bible! People say it was written by man. well you look at the events in the bible alot of the Wonders of the World can be figured out so the events line up on earth with the bible no belief needed just look and the connection. Remember it was written before most the known world was discovered.

@FrankLightheart what science there is no proof you do not see things evolving today! so it just magically stopped! and ya we can change flies doesn't prove anything! there is a difference in evolving naturally and mutations! And as far as Hope goes, Say someones brother tells his best friend "Hope" He was gay "he was wrong" the family would not say he was gay they didnt know only the friend New! weather he did or didnt does not matter! iHope he did so he is not burning in hell

@Nathan8Lealiou This is quickly dissolving into a "you weren't there" argument. All I'm saying is that there were a LOT of people in that day that wanted Darwin to say that he was wrong and plenty of motivation to lie about it.

What I find interesting is that the only people who find the deathbed conversion stories believable are the fundamentalists when they can't seem to argue against the science.

Of coarse his family is going to say it wasn't real Darwin was dying they would make the money from the book and if the author discredits the book no more money!
