scythian a killer irish ukrainian folk Gypsy band

these guys played at our dayton celtic fest this wekkend, and they sound and play great, my camera mic sucks but there still great ;)

Alex (Lex) and Dan are Ukrainian. Most of the music Scythian plays are of Irish/Folk etc. They do play some traditional Ukrainian Music in the show and they also mix up Irish and Ukrainian music. I know because I know the two brothers... Scythian ARE an AWESOME Group......

You sure they are not in any way Ukrainian? I heard one of them do a youtube interveiw in Ukrainian and this medley has Ukrainian melodies in it. I'd know, Im of Ukrainian and Irish decent , and also a folk musician that plays music from both countries.

could be, I don't know them personally, I just went to our celtic festival here in Dayton, and they blew me away at how great they sounded, I had brought my camera so i started filming for everyone to see ;)

the name of this band is "SCYTHIAN" they played our irish celtic festival here in Dayton,Ohio the last two years, I said Ukrainian in the title but there actually an Irish band but the music sounded awsome with a great midevil european sound, I seen them this year as well and there really entertaining, if you get the chance to see them you'll really enjoy them ;) They played everything with alot of passion
