In this video, Mark demonstrates how to make a Thanksgiving Turkey with or without stuffing. The turkey was a 15 pound frozen turkey that was thawed in the refrigerator for 3 days, and then prepared with butter and seasoning salt. Once the skin is separated from the meat, the butter is then applied inside and all over the outside of the turkey. Once the butter is applied, smoked or regular bacon can be added to the outside of the turkey for extra flavor. For those of you that enjoy stuffing, the turkey was stuffed with a variety of ingredients described in the video and then mixed together. Those of you that prefer to do without the stuffing can use a variety of whole vegetables mentioned to place in the center after butter is applied to the inside pocket. Always remember that these ingredients are used based on preferential flavors. When the turkey preparation is done, place the turkey in the Reynold's Oven Bag and follow the directions outlined for your specific size turkey and keep an eye on the turkey to determine when it's done. **Remember to get the appropriate size bag for your turkey.** When it is done, carve your turkey and prepare to receive accolades from your friends and family. Happy Thanksgiving, Enjoy!!

  • how long should the turkey be in the oven and on how many degrees??

  • @Lezael30 Follow the directions for cooking time on the back of the Reynold's Oven Bag box. Cooking time will vary based on size of the turkey and the type of oven. Set the oven to 350 degrees. Hope this helps!

  • do i Brine the turkey? put mix whiskey, salt and sugar until dissolved and add enough ice cold water to cover turkey completely... :P?

  • @Bobonita1 You can always use this recipe to your own liking ;-)

  • @HewCanDoCooking I prepared the turkey and it was a huge success. Everybody loved it. And it wasn't dry at all, and so nicely salted... Thank you sooo much.

  • Man that turkey looks ugly.. bet it tastes awesome though xD

  • @HewCanDoCooking Thanks a lot :) Could you tell me how long would a turkey of 4 kg need to stay in the oven, just an approximation. It is the first time I am using a bag, so I am pretty lost :)
