So, god (I didn't capitalize it for a reason!) will give one woman that is having no problem fairing for herself one million dollars, yet he won't give food to the starving Christian Ethiopians? Why would you ever worship such a homicidally insane deity? I need an explanation.

I started getting pretty sick this past Friday. In the past I would have prayed that I wouldn't get too sick and that I would recover quickly. But because I'm no longer a believer I didn't say a prayer this time. Guess what? I'm healed! Praise my immune system, it's not a miracle!

I am trying to decide which would be a more satisfying "where are they now: 5 years later" ending to this story. Option 1: They get swindled out of every penny of their money by a corrupt priest who uses the money to build his dungeon for boy-fiddling. Option 2: A deranged sociopath kidnaps them and cuts off their arms and legs and says "pray to your god so that you may grow them back!" Which do you think, people? Option 1 or option 2? Or is it option 3? Make up your own and post it as a reply!

What a total douchebag. First of all what was he doing PRAYING *BEFORE* his mother won the lottery if he was supposedly an atheist before and a religious nutball after winning? The answer is, he was a douchebag religious nutball his whole life, he just is collaborating with his equally douchebag mother to try to create a point of contention against atheism with this bullshit story. Faith is a law, like gravity. People call it the law of attraction. But the Bible states that there is a law of faith. If you pray for something, believe that you have ALREADY RECEIVED IT and you shall have what you asked for.
