There are 6 sections in this HHO generator, each one has five stainless steel 304 plates. The middle one is the negative, the outer two plates are positive and the remaining plates between the positive and negative plates are the neutral ones (this is needed to test out some joecell concepts). The sections are wired in series. I wanted to run this setup with only 12V (about 2V for each section), but I did not use enough electrolyte to get enough amps, so I increased the voltage. Will add more electrolyte on the next test, because is takes some time to take the lid off with all those bolts :D
If I will be able to get this baby draw enough current on just 12v, there wont be any heat problems. I am using KOH as electrolyte. The flashback arrestor with the fine bronze wool works just great.

  • HHO generator produces about 7.65 Horespower worth of Hydrogen.... every minute.

So assuming the generator draws 10amps at 14.4v = 144watts or 11.6 HP every minute...... I just proved with simple math it requires more HP to make the Hydrogen than you get back from the combustion of the hydrogen

  • So?

And what about oxygen, that is also produced? This gives the gas whole new range of properties. And since when 144 watts are 11.6HP?

  • From your video,

this is a 5 series cell, not 6. Correct?

  • No, this is in fact a 6 series cell electrolyzer.

  • for being a wet cell, this is actually pretty darn good.

  • 1 hp = 746 watts. I saw 12.5 volts and 31 amps. So you pulled 387.5 watts from the power supply. So your HHO cell give at the best 1/2HP every seconds if it is 100% efficient (witch is impossible).

  • I love this cell. But you are creating too much of a voltage drop by using neutral plates in addition to the seperated cells. You can configure it like +-+-+ and due to the seperated cells you will get your voltage drop so will be running at 2 volts per cell at 12 volts or hooked to a running car that operates at 13.8 volts you will be at 2.3 volts per cell.

  • how much can i get one for...

  • what is the material of plates?

  • verey nice hay did you now dc motors when spun by hand make energey just like a genarator all of them do add it to your pully system or what ever go check out wind power dc motors youtube delve in to other fields like i do take the best of there tec and blend it steam power wind hydro power solar termaul trancfer elictronics ther is a way to make each beter by blending but you got to stop thinking same as every one else exsploer were they didnt sven a littelm thing mite help you with a problem

  • Most spark arrestor can not stop HHO from flashing back, use bubblers for your own safety.

  • thats strange, i have just finnished building one very similar to this, tho im awaiting bits for my plates before i can test it out,,,, cool.

    thom in scotland.

  • um, rape?

  • 1hp = 745.699872 watts, So if he was getting 11.6 hp off 144 watts, I would ask how. not try to damn him..
