Texas High School football at it's best. Over 14,000 people came to watch this first 2007 District 9-5A game between the Allen Eagles and the Plano Wildcats.
Clark Field is "supposedly" Home to the Wildcats, but Both School's campuses are about 6 miles from the Stadium. Is there realy home field advantage at Clark?
The Allen Eagles were ranked #2 in the DFW metroplex and #5 in the State AP Poll. Plano was ranked #6 in the Metroplax and Just outside the Top 10 in the State AP Poll with 4 votes.
Allen Lost Their Sr. QB to injury in the first game of the season and Sophmore Matt Brown has taken the reigns and is showing his natural head for football. The offense has a top notch receiving corps. led by University of Texas recruit #4 Dan Buckner.
The Allen Defense is completely rebuilding with no returning starters. The defense is showing flashes of success, but has much to learn and experience.
Plano Has opened up their offense from their normal run, run, incomplete pass, run based offense to a pass happy spread,wing T, etc... offense. They are racking up points and knocking off opponents.
With Running Back Rex Burkhead pulling double duty on defense and Offense along with a corps of talented recievers they are sure to make the playoffs this yea

And I guess that that is Allen sitting at home while Plano moves to the Quarter-finals. Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm an old Wildcat player

Great, then you won't mind if I wear my Plano City Champions T-Shirt and sit with the Skyline folks for the game.
You remind me of my older brother. I was bigger and stronger but he was faster we used to have some great fights. If anybody was getting the best of him in a fight I would not hesitate to jump in, but I always love to see him lose at sports, because he really was a jerk.
