**update - august 2010 - due to a series of unforeseen circumstances, oliver has been returned to his foster home, and is again looking for his forever home. please send an email to ladybirdanimalsanctuary@gmail.com if you would like to know more about oliver, or if you know someone who may want to adopt him **
oliver is in desperate need of a home. he's an extremely loving and sweet cat. he has a virus called feline leukemia that could one day affect his immune system. at the moment, he's just fine, other than a chronic upper respiratory infection. (that means, he gets sneezy sometimes).
feline leukemia can be spread from cat to cat by saliva, so oliver should be the only kitty in his new home. he can live with other cats who are positive with the virus though. the virus cannot be spread to dogs, small animals or humans. speaking of canines...oliver loves dogs! almost as much as he loves people.
oliver has been neutered, microchipped, de-flead, de-wormed, and he's up to date on his shots, including rabies.
if you can't adopt oliver yourself, maybe you know someone who doesn't have any cats at home who is looking for a wonderful, super-friendly cat to call their own. or maybe you know someone who already has a FeLV cat who needs a companion. oliver really is a wonderful cat and he desperately wants a home where he can be loved and give love...

I would take him in a minute if my cat liked other cats, but due to him not liking any animals I can't :( He is so precious though!

simplegrl11589 1 year ago
he did, but after a year he was returned to me because his adopter's living circumstances changed. so he's looking for a new home again. he's such a wonderful kitty. if you can...please spread the word about him so he can find his forever home soon!
