With a river as amazing at the Findhorn for white water rafting and the way it dramatically carves its way toward the Moray Firth it was always a source of frustrated bemusement why there was no class canyon that would match what the river had to offer.
Jim Davis has had a close look at every feeding burn with the exception of one until recently. From the map it looked likely to be a gradual descent to the river. However so tight is the gorge that the contour lines could not display this until now hidden gem.
