Classical Arabia includes the Sinai Peninsula. Ron Wyatt also claimed to have had supernatural visions (regarding both arks). The Aqaba crossing is biblically impossible (see Exodus 15:22; compare 1 Sam 15:7). Also, Ron's findings were at Jebel Maqla, not Lawz (which is not blackened). The Against Jebel al-Lawz blog has more information, however, nothing more regarding the eastern column. The bevel on the western column is Graeco-Roman in style.
