@EeyoreBensonStabler Frankly I thought the whole storyline was utterly confusing. I can understand why someone just trying to catch up on characters would be going crazy. It's like the who's on first routine. Guess you're too young to know that comedic routine done years ago by Abbott and Costello, right? Anyway, the plot and writing was sort of off the wall but it's a soap opera. Great story but sometime laughable.

Did anyone else see the underlying sexual tention between kim and john/roman? I LOVE SHAne and kim but patsy pease and drake could have been a super couple. They had chemistry

Okay, I didn't watch Days back when this aired, I only started watching in 2009, after Drake Hogestyn left the show, so I am a little confused, cause I thought that Drake played John Black, but he was called Roman in this scene, can someone fill me in please?!

Back in 1985/86, Drake arrived as amnesiac John Black, who was 'the Pawn' (looks altered, memory gone). He and Marlena fell for each other while he was searching for his identity, but then it looked like John might really be the evil Stefano, and he took Marlena hostage and on the run (I loved every minute of it!!). Turned out he was Roman (HURRAY!). Diedre Hall left in 86. In 1989 when DH and Wayne Northrup returned, they changed WN to Roman. John really being John Black.

Oops, sorry. Diedre Hall returned in 1991, not 1989, along with Wayne Northrup and the awful story where dear Roman became dear John. (I did love John, but I really loved Drake as Roman too).
