I met this guy a couple of years ago. It's so refreshing to see men like him stand up and be counted. God Bless Rev. Boykin.

My point is you shouldn't call people stupid if you don't want to be called stupid. Americans say the same about sapnish speakers "they should learn our language before they critize and disrespect it" That does not make them anymore right than you because in the end no one can or should critize anyone for not knowing and understanding a language that is not their own. I also never said it was about racism I said some people might take it the wrong way. There is a difference.

@McCray2338 what's the point? this started only because i said a comment in spanish, i dont care if americans don't understand it.. i just wanna say i can't change my language only because a word can sound ofensive.. i believe americans should learn what's the meaning of "negro" in spanish before criticize..it doesn't have anything to do with racism
-
You might think Americans are selfish and by the way happen to agree with you But at the same time you cant call somebody an idiot for not wanting to learn your language in "THEIR" country You are 100% right you can use your own language if you want but you can't get mad if people from other countries dont understand you or want to learn your language. Other countries learn english because they want to be friends with "America" theyre ass kissers I speak your language by the way!

@McCray2338 i think americans are selfish.. the rest of the world must speak english but they don't know a word about spanish, french or other languages.. so i think i can use my own language when i want
-
I know what it means, and them not speaking spanish does not make them ignorant seeing as in they are Americans. Which is why your 100% right it is YOUR LANGUAGE!!!! It's not their language. Does your people not understanding english make them ignorant????
-
@McCray2338 negro means black, it's not an insult at all, i don't care if they are ignorant and don't understand spanish.. it's my language
-
the negro is not a very good way to say that. I'm just saying someone who doesn't speak spanish might take it the wrong way. Chao.

@wakko88qy I'm from Virginia, but yeah I'm glad I wasn't born in the rural part. Pretty much, all the people there are backwards in their thinking.
Interesting to note that throughout all the videos shown about the Citizens' Time speech that the board only returns a "Thank You" to those speakers which support its position.
I'm glad I don't live in Virginia.

Well, we have only shown a small fraction of the speakers. As I recall, Chairman Stewart said "thank you" to many of the people who didn't agree with the anti-illegal immigration resolution.
