Bryce Oliver La Serna Game #7 vs El Rancho 10-20-11

La Serna's freshman football team lost today's game against El Rancho High by a final score of 44-30. This is the first loss of the season for the La Serna Freshman Team but the team played well and hung in there to the very end. Three of our best players were hurt in todays game and were not able to finish which caused a major hurdle for the team to overcome . Bryce played well but it was not enough to defeat a tough and well coached El Rancho team. Bryce finished with 167 total yards on 15 touches and also had two tackles and a forced fumble (that was not called correctly on the opening kick off). Next weeks game is against Santa Fe and the Lancers are ready to put today's tough loss behind them.
