Its bullshit that they dont have a retirement package for those dogs, they served too.

Man's bestfriend deserves a special treatment as well. As our four-legged soldiers, good job!

That 1 Dislike was from a cat

I'm now a proud owner of a seven year old Czech shepherd that spent six years of its life protecting the Canadian parliament, and BC ferries, Vancouver olympics from bombs, and working protection for our local ERT team. It took him awhile for him to relax, and learn to be a dog but now he enjoys $200 bags of dog food, his kong, and a comfy spot on the end of my bed. Sleep better with him in my house knowing he would give his life in a second for me.

I have a GSD and she had a good owner but he passed.

I was truly blessed to be able to adopt Dino B264 after I retired from the Air Force. We were a team for a couple of years while stationed at Holloman. Unfortunatly Dino gave up the good fight last November. It was awesome to see him being just a dog... yup he spent a few hours on the couch with me.... If you have the time and love for one of our heros, I would highly suggest it

There is also a need for FOSTER HOMES for the pets of our Military personnel who are being deployed and who have no one to take care of their animals!
Search for MILITARY PETS FOSTER PROJECT if you can help!
