Amazing shots, can feel the sand being whipped up in the desert. A very inspiring video.

Is that a riverside 5 bike?

@jamielongmusic Nope, it's a 2008 Cannondale Touring Ultra

Hey, awesome video. Myself and three others are hoping to complete a tour from Scotland to the dessert at M'hamid sometime during the summer to raise money for charity. It's obviously a massive undertaking and any advice on cycling to M'hamid would be much appreciated. Also, what camera is it you have used for this footage? Many thanks.

@moonboots222
I used a Panasonic Lumix LX3 with a Pansonic DMW-LW46 wide angle & a Nikon FC-E9 fisheye.
I also carried a Manfrotto 714B tripod.

This is great - this sets the bar for recording a bike tour by video - captures what a good tour is all about. Really inspiring. The variety of shots and the editing (plus the music) all make it highly watchable!
BTW - how did you get the shot that is from the rear left of the bicycle - can't see how you can have shot it without someone doing it for you or it was attached to some kind of bar extending from the bike - nice shot

@deuanllewelyngerman I was carrying a fairly large photographic tripod. To get the rear shots I fully exended the tripod (with the legs together) and tied it down across the rear panier bags. I positioned it so that it stuck out about a meter on the left side.
