I was born and raised in Bridgeport and I agree that the town is horrible. I think that if half of our residents keeps saying how it is then that should be a sign for the mayor to get off his lazy butt and do something to change it. Because if Family Guy makes fun of you then you know you're doing something wrong.

I used to live in Westport CT. Bridgeport is a shithole. A ferry runs from there to long island. Also during the American revolution it was coastal town for shipping and it was raided by the British navy.

I grew up in Bpt right on poplar street. I remember leaving the house to go to school one day and about ten stray dogs surrounded me & they starting barking like crazy trying to get me to drop my brown lunch bag. I was on crutches at the time and boy I started swinging one of the crutch at those dogs and screaming my little lungs out. Lol! Those were the good ole days. I left Bpt about 17 years ago when I left for college. I remember we grew up as poor kids but we sure had fun & we were happy.
