i remember watching this movie on tv around 93 or 94 i was 13 or 14 but brings back great memories this is the part of the movie i rember most. love the song,takes me places i can't describe in my heart. i saw the movie last night again just to hear that song and the whole movie made sense to me now.i feel the pain of jay with this song.gods love is awesome.ps "jimmy adja" is kinda like this also.

This song reminds me of my time in Uganda in 1991. I saw Afrigo play this song live at the Kampala waterfront park area. I also saw Mississippi Masala last night on late night TV. It shows the bus station with the people were dancing and the waterfront near the park where I saw Afrigo. What a great song.
