Hey, I have been listening to a lot a music lately and I wanted to share the stuff that stood out to me. (There are short clips of the songs in the video) Hopefully you find something new. If you know all of this stuff already, comment with some other musical suggestions.

I like diverse music too. Dig LCD Soundsystem and M83, a bit 80's and shoegaze ? didn't know that was a genre, but i like :P

i think the shoegaze thing comes from bands who just stand on stage and stare at their feet. not saying that m83 does that. they just fall into that category of sound.

If you don't listen to Kevin Devine, you should. And then put some videos up of some of his more tricky songs. One that I'm having some trouble with is Go Haunt Someone Else. Thanks for all the videos, the first song I really learned was Four Winds, thanks to you.

hey man i really think vampire weekend sounds more like a mix of the format and the shins, either way great music, I'll subscribe, and by the way, i cant get the chord structure right on the song Memory Lane by Elliott Smith, theres a tutorial on youtube but its really dark and i couldn't get it, if you could do a tutorial on that it would be awesome and you should definitely check out Band of Horses although you've probably already heard of them.
