  • Well, no one will ever know what's being said. For all we know, they could be plotting...

  • @CaptainAlexMason

That's half the fun of it, though, isn't it? Wondering what's being said?

  • The Lincolnshire Poacher stopped broadcasting in 2008.. It is such a well known and well documented numbers station, so blatantly MI6 and also subject to so much jamming by god knows who..

It is almost certainly the case that MI6 kept broadcasting nonsense for perhaps 20 years in order to sap the resources of rival spy agencies whilst communicating to their commanders using much more advanced technologies than this..

..not that I care about politics but everyone loves a bit of real James Bond!

  • Nope just creepy sound

  • @roflcopter2225 Actually numbers station were to send encrypted messages to spies on the field, if anyone got into the broadcast, they wouldn't know what they were talking about cause the operator just said a bunch of numbers in a strait tone.

  • @shoplifting1is1fun idk lol

  • @TheSlenderFan

    Isn't it obvious?

  • @Gogar88 i think its gone off air.. as you say i think your hearing a recording of it. i dont think ud be able to hear on a normal sw radio. you should get a eton e5 if ur looking for a radio.. there pretty amazing. am in the uk and i can hear "the buzzer" very very clear

  • @rmsproductions33 I got program called HamSphere. In Stockholm server 0.3. 715.000 its always there, the signal changes freq but it can be easily spotted. But its keep counting the same numbers so I don't know if its just some kind a recording put on there. I just begun to explore SWL and I need a real radio not a program. But I found also other two counting stations there, one Russian.

  • @UYFANYM no... no you cant. they use a one time pad

  • @Gogar88 what freq did you hear it at ?

  • Why its said its not broadcasting anymore, for I heard it just today using Hamsphere?

  • @wiirluvenit its called a numbers station. they have a wikipedia page.
