  • You've certainly learned a lot about teaching since your first few Ruby introductory videos. Much easier to follow and understand when you're calm. Love your work!

  • @crazybuzz100 Thanks :)

  • i really what to learn ruby scripting in rpg games like vx or xp

  • @AshleyNyeeka Well this series should teach you the basics of the Ruby language itself, I'm not very fond of the RPG maker series, so I can't help you there, sorry. Good luck with your game development!

  • Any chance you would be offering something for Text Based gaming? You might remember Legend of the Red Dragon on the old BBS systems.

  • Sorry for taking so long to respond to your question...

No i'm not planning anything text based, as I myself have done no more than a very simple dungeon crawler... If enough people request it, I'll look into though

  • Very nice videos... even in present times your work is still valuable ^_^

  • @AshleyNyeeka There is the benefit of them having all the basic 2d mmorpg stuff you need, but its ONLY good for single player games... to make an mmo with it, you are stuck working alone (most mmorpg engines have multiple people editors so u can have a crew work) and also it is still very limited even with the scripting language. if you want to learn the scripting on the rmxp/vx site they have scripting tutorials (basicly the same thing as the ruby source code stuff )

  • Thanks to you, a couple of days ago I was able to set up a menu, that led to a seperate menu.^^

    Kudos to the when.^^

  • Wow, that was fast. Good that you're doing the series, I can't wait to learn something \(^_^)/
