600RR Lowside 北宜64k 20110605 09h46

UPDATE 2011 07 17 Bike repaired & carving curves again.
北宜64k (Taipei - Ilan Highway at the 64k mark.) Honda 600RR loses the back end through a combination of his line taking him into some loose stones / dirt on the outside of the corner + then touching the footpeg down hard enough to leverage first the back & then the front wheel off the tarmac. ...No injuries.
Damage limited mainly to the fairing fractured below the instrument console.

Dang dude, I never realized how much carnage you have filmed till now. Seemed like when I was riding, almost every time we went in a group doing some mountain twistiest, there would always be one squid riding over his head and crashing.

@glendeco You are correct about someone going beyond his limits during group rides etc. Yet, when I was flying, incidents resulting in injury / damage were rare. Most of the footage is the result of a great deal of patience & planning....I'm at one particular location from 06h30 to 13h00 most Sundays. There are far more riders on a section closer to the capital, but this particular corner seems to be tricky for many riders.(downhill, 2 apexes & varying camber)

and ran out of ground clearance: = GAME OVER
