  • @temple134 Technically when it's held in that position and strummed it's called "a la gitarre." Pizz is plucking with the instrument held in normal playing position. As for whether the violin "should" be used, I think the fact that a musician chooses one over the other is more than reason enough to justify it.

  • its called pizzicato, is the real name for it. and whats the point of a ukulele if you can play violin the same way. theres several ways to play a stringed instruments. and plus a ukulele has a different tone than violin, you can only get a certain sound from either instrument,
