He wasn't 78 in this interview. He's much chubbier today.
I would say it was made sometime in the 80s because reference is made to T.J. Hooker and he was in that series from 1982 to 86.

I honestly don't believe that Shatner doesn't like looking at himself. How could anyone not like looking at Shatner?

It's interesting that this show just keeps a close-up on the interviewee.

I don't know if I'd agree with that assertion. Bill in the 80s was a very 'serious' person, he took everything very seriously, especially his acting. If you read his memoirs, he pretty much says as much. Now that he's older, he's just enjoying his acting more and has dropped a lot of the defenses he often had up earlier in his life. I think after his wife died, he had a bit of an awakening and realized you can't take things so seriously.
