hmm.. strange, vice-versa is faster, especially running xp in a vm in linux. Why would you want linux apps in windows when windows in linux is faster?

Linux is not that hard to use, and I'm not saying I'm an expert, I'm just saying that I find this kind of strange, except if Windows users really want use Amarok (media player and organiser) or try out some apps before switching to Linux.
Is it run in a VM-like state in a mixed mode, or are all the KDE libraries installed to the hard drive?

"andLinux uses coLinux as its core which is confusing for many people. coLinux is a port of the Linux kernel to Windows. Although this technology is a bit like running Linux in a virtual machine, coLinux differs itself by being more of a merger of Windows and the Linux kernel and not an emulated PC, making it more efficient"

Stop flexxing your geek muscles and don't be so pernickity. He corrected his mistake straight away.
And who says he shouldn't tool with virtualisation or emulation? He's made a video to show people something that he's been able to do, and also something that's useful. You on the other hand sound like you're just browsing videos to be anal at people.

You set up a whole VM just so you wouldn't have to use a video editing software to slap together the clips from before and after the reboot? xD

Also, why use synaptic to install software? If you know what you want to install, it's generally much faster to use apt-get install, or aptitude-install.

Rather than colinux I would like to see a cowindows. Less time playing with winetricks trying to install silly dll's and fonts just to play Skyrim on Debian.

To be fair, I'm guessing it depends on your priorities. Windows runs faster on its own than it does as a virtual machine in Linux, so if your goal is first and foremost to have Windows running at optimal speed and Linux is just a secondary thing, I think this works perfectly well.
