good, but still the size of the peakers limits it. be good if u had big speakers placed around layout with sensers for the train so each speaker got louder in turn when train approached, oh and some black smoke.

Just what dimensions have you got to play with on this layout, it looks immense, 30 ft or so??

I use a CMX clean machine (available from DCC Supplies) supplemented with a track rubber.

Another great Vid, What do you reckon to traintronics sounds? I might get my 50 reblown by them when i go on holiday. (Not far away from shop in Bournmouth). Like the white stripe on the 31. Remember seeing them like that when i lived in the Sheffield area many years ago...

I only have the 2 at the moment (a class 47 is also on its way). I am VERY impressed with the 31 and whilst the HST doesn't scream like the real thing, it certainly makes a din! I'd be interested to hear the 50; as you know, I have the Howes 50 and it is excellent.
