Hey jimrohrig, what are the circumstances of this performance? Where, what, who promoted it? Keith looks as old as me in this. I was an FM DJ in Orange county CA at the time and remember playing this and also getting requests for it. Top 40 derived tune, but a nice break from Iron Butterfly at the time. #7 on 1/07/67. 1967 was a transition year for me in a lot of ways. I still have my 67 VW Bug. Keith came as a special guest and sang with the Tokens as they did on the actual recording. I grew up in OC. What station were you at and did you use a DJ namet?

It is songs like 98.6 that keep my spirit alive while staying in hospitals since 1971 for bone cancer which is now in its fourth stage. Whenever my body temperature reaches 98.6, so does my spirit. That is when I either play the song 98.6 or sing it to nurses who enjoy it.

I think Keith just needed a good hair cut for the 2008 performance.

It would be so wonderful if Keith and the Tokens could raise funds for those with debilitating deceases by singing his song 98.6.
