i know people had better wake up because, its not going to hit just there, pretty soon it going to be all over the world. no one and i do mean no one will be safe, its about taking us the people out. you think if you want that the goverment cares about the people, that is bull. and its not about church either., people that think they have it made because they are not in louisiana. you had better think again. its over with.
@mrdalewilsondw i guess for someone who is out of work, if they can take home 50.00 a day it would be great :) but, when it's what a business is taking in you have not consider overhead and in that case it's not so good...... :( lets just hope this cap works and the damages that have been done can be taken care of. sadly, i don't see it happening any time soon....
@stme2008 oh yes, please, lets kick the dog while he is down! go ahead and label an ENTIRE STATE with your nonsense! how dare you speak like you know what i think and do? how dare you speak like you personally know EVERYONE from Louisiana!! go ahead and keep your little two dollar donation and use it to put in the collecton plate at church because believe me sunshine, what you need can only come from God! may He bless you and take such ugliness out of your heart and mind....
I wish someone from Grand Isle would tell the rest of us IF there really are UN troops in the motels down there like people are reporting? We here out here in the southwest that the troops have bought out empty motel rooms all along the coast, but mainly they are there in Grand Isle.
So sorry for what is going on, we pray for all of you. This is AS sad as our troop dying in Iraq and Afganistan because this is not temporary and to some it means the death of a way of life. I cry.
To destroy such a big beautiful place such as this is beyond anything I can imagine. The death of so much due to negligence and greed. It can bring grown men to tears. There many musical odes to New Orleans and the southern way of life. I can hardly listen to them now. All my life I have wanted to visit this beautiful place, never got around to it, and now it will be decimated and I will never behold the beauty. Please God don't let these folks and their beautiful land fall down
I grew up on the island. Swam those beaches for about 27 years. Brother in law (Chris), Mr. Frank, and everyone else down there... my heart is breaking for Y'all :(
I spent the first 18 years of my life in Grand Isle. Even though I'm not there with you guys now, I'm praying like I still live there. Frank, Chris, it's great to see you both. Hang in there, when God closes a door, He opens a window. Mickie Guilbeau used to say that.
Fred is such a nice guy

BP is just waiting for these poor victims to leave... there's rich deposits of minerals and oil under their properties.
