  • @mollymcG100 Oh, my God! This is just a fiction, based on a fiction of Alexander Pushkin. But Pushkin was based on rumors and speculation. Salieri really did not care for Mozart, but Mozart itself, and this is confirmed in his autobiography, was very jealous of his colleagues. And pray tell: what can envy someone who has reached in life for all - career, artistic fulfillment, etc.? Listen to music of Salieri: Is it possible to hear envy or dissatisfaction with life?

  • Why he has not been valued like a Mozart or any other?!

  • "Maligned Master: The Real Story Of Antonio Salieri", by Volkmar Braunbehrens is, according to what i have heard, much better source about A. Salieri than Amadeus. He was one of the most famous classical composers and great teacher of many of later composers (i.e. Beethoven, Liszt, Schubert).

  • Such a wonderful piece.

Famous for having a rivalry with Mozart, read or watch the play Amadeus to get a full understanding of Salieri :)

  • Nice with a somewhat unknowed composer. I was hopening that you would be the solist when I say hands a the piano in the miniatyre! :-D But anyway. I like it. :-)
