You take it easy! I actually put this in my favourites because I love the way David sings this song, so be happy! :-) I just can't help laughing at the corny video, that's all... And I'm sure David isn't worrying about it, so neither should you. I adore him. A few goofy videos have never changed that. My comment was lighthearted, not hurtful. I don't need, nor did I deserve, a lecture from you on how to word things correctly based on stickers, or to be told which videos to watch, thank you. ;-)

I'm afraid you are sadly mistaken if you believe they were "live performances"! :-D They're all just cheap little videos that David filmed in a small studio with no audience while lip-syncing to the tracks on the album. Even if you don't know the facts, you should be able to tell that simply by watching them; it doesn't take a genius to notice something so blatantly obvious. ;-) Oh, and if they aren't "music videos", please tell us all what you believe would be the correct term..?

take it easy, i know they are not live. i think the cover sticker says "studio performance videos", or something like that. and by "not music videos" i mean they weren't meant to be shown on MTV, and you won't find it on any music video compilations. it was all filmed (along with 5 other tracks) for this one particular documentary "On Saturday May 8, 1993, at the Hollywood Center Studios in Los Angeles". if you want to see a not "cheap and silly" video, whatch the jump they say video by romanek.

I really like the way David sings this song, and I love David with all my heart, but honestly... HOW MUCH MORE CORNY COULD THIS MUSIC VIDEO POSSIBLY BE?!?! xD He's smiling in a goofy way at totally inappropriate moments in what is a serious, heartfelt song, and... then he pulls a LIGHTER out and stands there waving it around by himself like a moron!? I mean, LOL! - WTF DAVID! :-D Every video he made for the album Black Tie White noise was cheap and silly like this - I don't know why! Oh, dear...

(especially when imagining viewing this video through the eyes of someone who doesn't love David as deeply and unconditionally as I do, and who didn't know it was just a low-budget video made in a studio along with several others in one day; it must look pretty funny & a bit odd! ;-) ) I genuinely hope that if anyone out there discovers the song for the first time by seeing it here and finds the video off-putting at all, that they will just close their eyes and listen to the beautiful track. :-)

Oh, and another thing: I had the album long before I had the dvd, & used to play this song back OVER and OVER because his vocals in it are absolutely superb... utter perfection! His version is incredibly deep & powerfully moving. I think I even shed tears over it a few times. :') Later when I had the dvd & first saw this video, I was very surprised & laughed at the corny way David had made it, and after not watching it for a while, when I found it here... I just couldn't help giggling again. :-D
