Humber students started 2012 with some good news -- 30 per cent off the cost of their tuition which eligible students can apply for right away.
The grant, announced by the McGuinty government, will help keep the cost of postsecondary education affordable for Ontario students.
Laurel Broten, MPP for Etobicoke-Lakeshore, was at Humber's Lakeshore Campus to provide students with further details on the new 30% Off Tuition Grant program. "The grant makes postsecondary education more accessible and affordable for families in our community," said Broten. "It is part of our government's commitment to create the best-educated workforce in the world by giving our students every opportunity to succeed. Ontario's future prosperity depends on it."
